I am blessed. In the past 7 days:
5-people (including me) brainstormed in my living room and set up a long-term meal and playdate schedule and more (“meals” to include drop off meals and shared meals at my house and at other people’s houses)
4-of my children’s grandparents either called, visited, made costumes and/or spent loads of time with my kids
3-houses under contract–means income (will sell one) and potential income (will purchase two) for my family
3.5-months of my children’s tuition paid for by many generous people
2+ -people helped me set up the altar in Mike’s memory @ Bare Hands Gallery (don’t forget Day of the Dead this Fri)
2-playdates for Marley
2-great comments on the blog from far away friends (AND if you havent signed the guestbook yet, please do!)
2-homemade meals dropped off at my house
2-beautiful hand written notes by people who know what the death of a loved one means
1-incredibly generous soul helped me for hours and hours to clean out/sort/inventory items my basement
1-home delivery of flowers and bulbs
All-of my business debt paid off, and no personal debt (except for the mortgage and of course, the ongoing bills)
Many-hugs and other gestures of kindness
Some-things that have slipped my mind while making this list and many things that fall outside of the artificial 7-day parameter, including cash donations, one massage, one chiropractic adjustment, and one offer to cleanse the energy field in my basement, all donated by kind and generous individuals.
So, if I haven’t thanked you personally yet, please forgive me–its been rather busy. But know that Marley and Avery and I could not do this without all of you.
Thank you.
